Description
Join us for our Annual Technical Tasting — This year, we turn our attention to the excellent 2015 vintage, exploring six wines from Médoc’s four celebrated Left Bank appellations: Pauillac, Margaux, Saint-Julien, and Saint-Estèphe.
Prior to the technical tasting, we will open the evening with a welcoming glass of Brulesécaille Blanc 2022. Following the tasting, dinner will feature two wines from Pomerol: Château Lafleur – Grand Village 2019 and L’Hospitalet de Gazin 2018, paired with a delicious four-course dinner at one of Calgary’s newest French bistros, Le Charme (804 Edmonton Trail NE). We will conclude the evening with the freshness and beautiful texture of Château Coutet 2009 (Barsac).
Featured Technical Tasting Wines – 2015 Vintage:
- Clerc Milon (Pauillac)
- Alter Ego (Margaux)
- Rauzan-Ségla (Margaux)
- Croix de Beaucaillou (Saint-Julien)
- La Dame de Montrose (Saint-Estèphe)
- Lafon-Rochet (Saint-Estèphe)
Expect an evening of great wine, lively discussion, and French cuisine as we explore the nuances of these iconic Left Bank terroirs — before answering the romantic calling of Pomerol at dinner. Does it get any better?
